The Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering
Department offers the Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering (B.S.M.E.),
materials science and engineering (B.S.M.S.E.), and aerospace
engineering (B.S.A.E.). These degree programs are accredited by the
Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for
Engineering and Technology (ABET).
The coursework for all MMAE programs is identical for the first two
years, allowing students to make informed choices about their
particular areas of interest and the flexibility to add double majors
or minors with ease. The

changes and updates to the MMAE curricula. It is intended as a
resource for use by MMAE undergraduates and their advisors.
