Chicago's South Side isn't just home to IIT - it also boasts the home field of the Chicago White Sox, the 2005 World Series Champions. In fact, US Cellular Field is located right next door to IIT's campus.

We think it would be a waste to travel to Chicago and not see the South Side's pride in action, so we're topping off the symposium's activities with a trip to the ballpark the evening of August 8, when they'll be playing current the current world champion Boston Red Sox.
